Our Talent Development Program (TDP) is a 12-24 month rotational program designed to develop the leaders of tomorrow and support the future business growth of CEMEX. By combining responsible and important job assignments with a formal learning-by-doing approach, the Talent Development Program provides a foundation of knowledge and experience for a long, successful career in CEMEX.

This program is broken into 4 talent towers: Cement, Ready Mix, Aggregates, and Corporate. As a TDP, you will get exposure to personal development training to help you build on your skills as you begin your career. You will receive training from our industry experts as you transition through your rotations and learn how we operate.

As a Cement Talent Development Professional (TDP), you will be put in a 24 month program that will begin with 6-8 months of training in New Braunfels, Texas followed by a 1 year first assignment in one of our following locations:
- Knoxville, TN
- Miami, FL
- Brooksville, FL
- Demopolis, AL
- New Braunfels, TX
- Longmont, CO
- Victorville, CA
- Clinchfield, GA
During your time in New Braunfels you will begin an intensive training program after which you will be able to apply those skills at one of our cement plants during your first assignment. Through this program you will be able to understand the different aspects of the start-to-finish production cycle of cement.
As a Ready-Mix Talent Development Professional (TDP), you will be put in a rotational program to gain an understanding of the different aspects of the safe production of Ready-Mix concrete. During each rotation, you will have a set of learning objectives and assignments. Along with that, you will gain experience in quality control, customer service, maintenance and much more.
As an Aggregates Talent Development Professional (TDP), you will be put in a rotational program to gain an understanding of the different aspects of the safe production of aggregates. During each rotation, you will have a set of learning objectives and assignments in order to gain experience in pit operations, quality control, maintenance, and much more.
As a Corporate Talent Development Professional (TDP), you will be based in Houston, Texas working in our Corporate office. You will participate in projects within our support functions, which are designed to provide valuable, firsthand experience in the building materials industry and excellent opportunities for networking and professional growth. Some of the departments you will be placed include strategic planning, logistics, HR, and more.
Who We Are Looking For:
Education: Four-year college degree in related area (Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, Concrete Industry Management, etc.)
Good Academic Standing
Demonstrated capability of conducting hands on field work
Unlimited leadership potential
Willingness to relocate domestically
4 years or less post bachelor’s degree (experience in the related industry preferred)
