President, CEMEX USA
Ignacio Madridejos joined CEMEX in 1996 and after holding management positions in the Strategic Planning area, he headed CEMEX operations in Egypt, Spain, Western Europe, and more recently, Northern Europe. He is currently President of CEMEX USA. Ignacio graduated with an MSc in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and holds an MBA from Stanford University.
Executive Vice President, Commercial and Public Affairs
Frank has over 35 years of experience in the construction materials business. He has served in numerous roles within the company in the past including Executive Vice President, Concrete and Aggregates, US Operations. Currently, Frank is Executive Vice President, Commercial and Public Affairs. In this role he is responsible for Cement Sales, Quality Assurance and Technical Services, Market Development, Commercial Strategy and Public Affairs for the US Operations. He has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committees of the National Ready Mix Concrete Association and the Portland Cement Association. He is a current Board Member of each organization and a past Chairman of the NRMCA. He is also a Trustee of the Ready Mix Trust Foundation, a Past Chair of the National Steering Committee for the Concrete Industry Management Schools and a Past Chair and current member of the Advisory Committee for the Concrete Sustainability Hub at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Frank holds an undergraduate degree from Auburn University, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
As the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for CEMEX’s U.S. operations, Mike is responsible for the company’s legal and environmental functions. Prior to this role, Mike served as Corporate Counsel over CEMEX USA’s East Region. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Boston College, an MBA from University of Bridgeport and a Juris Doctorate from University of Miami.
Regional President, Texas & New Mexico Region
As Regional President of the Texas & New Mexico Region, Joel is responsible for overseeing all regional business activities related to concrete, aggregates, and other building materials. Joel has nearly 20 years of experience in the construction materials industry including roles in ready mix operations, planning, cement sales, rail distribution and aggregates sales and operations. Joel joined CEMEX in 2016 and served as VP/GM for the Florida Aggregates Division before returning to Texas. Prior to joining CEMEX, Joel worked as a business consultant focused on supply chain solutions and strategic development for a variety of industries. Joel is active within the NSSGA having served on the Board of Directors and currently serves on the Executive Committee. He is presently the Chairman of the Meetings and Education Committee and recently received the Mark S. Walsh Award from NSSGA. Joel has served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Aggregates and Concrete Association and has been very active in the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program at Texas State University. Joel obtained his MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio and his BBA with concentrations in Accounting and Marketing from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management.
Regional President, Florida & Carolinas Region
As the Regional President of the Florida & Carolinas Region, Kirk is responsible for regional commercial sales activities, as well as aggregates, ready mix, concrete product, and gypsum operations. Kirk joined CEMEX in 1998 and has held various positions within the company including Vice President of Phoenix Aggregates and Asphalt as well as several positions in Cement Operations, Strategic Planning and Logistics. Kirk holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from the University of Michigan and is actively involved in industry organizations including the PCA and NSSGA.
Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Communications
As the Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Communications, Guillermo is responsible for the company's human resources development and training, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and communications functions. Since joining CEMEX in 2000, Guillermo has held leadership positions within Human Resources and Strategic Planning in several countries, including his most recent role as CEMEX's Vice President, Human Resources, Spain and Mediterranean. Guillermo holds a master's degree in business administration from IESE - University of Navarra in Barcelona and a law degree from the University of Basque Country in San Sebastian, Spain.
Vice President, Business Services Organization
As Vice President of Business Services Organization, Luciano is responsible for financial and operative reporting, information technology, internal control, financial analysis, credit & collection, as well as transactional services. Luciano joined CEMEX in 1999 as part of the Talent Development Program (TDP) in CEMEX Mexico. Since joining CEMEX, he has held several leadership positions within BSO & Controllership, including his most recent role as Operational Support Director for CEMEX USA. Luciano also has led strategical projects for CEMEX in Europe, Asia, SA&C and USA. Luciano holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting from ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico, as well as a MBA from EGADE Business school and a M.S. in Human Resource Management from the Universidad Regiomontana.
Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning
As the Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning, Trpimir is responsible for business planning, strategic planning, corporate development, and real estate functions. Trpimir joined CEMEX in 1997 and has held various positions within the company including Country Director of CEMEX Croatia, Director of Post-Merger Integration Process and Continuous Improvement for CEMEX Europe, in addition to positions in Finance and Strategic Planning. Trpimir has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA, both from the University of Manitoba, Canada.
Regional President, Mid-South Region
As Regional President, Mid-South Region, Marc Tyson is responsible for overseeing all regional business activities related to concrete, aggregates, asphalt and other building materials. Prior to joining CEMEX USA, Marc was President of Ready Mix USA, a business he began in 1995, which eventually became one of the top five privately-owned ready mix concrete companies in the country. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the President’s Cabinet at the University of Alabama and is an active member of NRMCA.
Executive Vice President, Logistics
As the Executive Vice President of Logistics, Matthew is responsible for the company’s logistics operations, supply chain planning, customer care and procurement in addition to the transportation and fly ash business units. Matthew joined CEMEX in 2001 in the UK and until recently was Vice President for Cement Commercial, Building Products and Logistics in our UK operations. Prior to that, he was Regional Director of Aggregates and Asphalt and held several positions in Logistics and Procurement. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Coventry University in England.
Regional President, West Region
As Regional President for the West Region, Eric is responsible for overseeing all regional business activities related to concrete, aggregates, asphalt, and other building materials. Eric has more than 20 years of experience in the building materials industry. He joined CEMEX Germany in 1997 and held various leadership positions in the cement division. In 2009 he was appointed President for CEMEX in Germany, a fully integrated portfolio of cement, aggregates, and ready-mix concrete businesses. Eric has a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the European Business School in Germany, and attended San Diego State University, in San Diego, CA.
