Founded in 1904, ACI International is a technical and educational society dedicated
to improving the design, construction, manufacture, and maintenance of concrete
structures and disseminating knowledge about concrete technology. Headquartered
in Farmington Hills, Michigan, ACI International has over 17,000 members and

The American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) is the national professional
organization of the concrete pavement industry. The ACPA and its network of
chapters and state paving associations represent members in marketing/promotion,
government affairs, and research/technical support associated with concrete
pavements used for highways, airports, streets, and roads. ACPA's more than
650 members include paving contractors, cement companies, equipment manufacturers,
material and service suppliers, ready-mixed concrete producers, allied associations/organizations,

For seventy years, the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association has represented
producers of ready mixed concrete and those companies that provide materials
and support to the industry. NRMCA provides its members with education, training,

NSSGA is the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association. On Feb. 12, 2001,
the merged National Stone Association and National Aggregates Association
became the NSSGA. The association represents the crushed stone, sand and
gravel-or aggregates-industries. Its member companies produce more than 92
percent of the crushed stone and 75 percent of the sand and gravel consumed
annually in the United States.

The American Concrete Pipe Association (ACPA) is a nonprofit organization, composed primarily
of manufacturers of concrete pipe and related conveyance products located throughout the United States,
Canada and in over 40 foreign countries. ACPA membership also includes manufacturers of equipment
and/or providers of products and services related to the concrete pipe industry.

The Tilt-Up Concrete Association consists of contractors, engineers, architects,
and suppliers dedicated to improving the quality of tilt-up construction and
expanding its use. The Association produces marketing and promotional literature
and audio/visual aids for its members; develops and conducts educational seminars;
develops technical documents and guidelines; and, provides referrals. TCA hosts
a web site: www.tilt-up.org and is developing, in conjunction with ACI, a certification
program for field supervisory personnel.
