Portland Type I - Gray

Product Description

A high quality Portland cement for concrete construction.

Uses/Applications

Used when the special properties of the other types are not required.

Specifications

Conforms to the specifications of ASTM C150, Type I.

Complementary/Accessory Products

Any natural water that is potable is satisfactory as mixing water for making concrete.

Aggregate for concrete should be clean, free of chemicals, coatings of clay, or other fine materials that may affect the hydration and bond of the cement paste.

Product Technical Information

Type I Portland Cement is produced to comply with ASTM C150.

Proportion and mix in accordance with ASTM C 270 procedures, or other applicable codes. Recommended mixing time is 5 to 8 minutes.

Occupational Health Information

Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Wash affected areas with soap and water.
