CEMEX USA is tightening its bond with the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association by joining the organization’s “Build with Strength” program, a campaign that shows how concrete is the best choice when it comes to construction.
CEMEX USA has more than 270 ready-mix concrete plants and is one of the top suppliers of ready-mix concrete in the United States.
“Ready mix is one of the cornerstones of CEMEX USA and is used in some of the largest projects in the U.S.,” CEMEX USA President Ignacio Madridejos said. “We are proud to partner with NRMCA to help drive home the fact ready-mix concrete is the top choice when it comes to building structures that last.”
As part of the program, CEMEX USA will help promote the “Build with Strength” campaign. The goal of the campaign is to educate the building and design communities as well as policymakers on the benefits of ready-mix concrete. CEMEX USA and NRMCA want to encourage its use as the building material of choice for low-to mid-rise structures.
NRMCA has a new “Build with Strength” website that provides information on how easy ready mix concrete is to use. It also highlights the advantages of concrete when it comes to strength, durability and safety compared to other building materials and provides a design center for companies planning to create new structures.
