Karl Watson, Jr.

Karl Watson, Jr.

President, CEMEX USA

Karl Watson, Jr. serves as the President of CEMEX USA. Prior to his current role, Mr. Watson served as Regional President of the East Region. Prior roles also include President of Rinker Materials West, the Chief Executive of Ready-Mix in Australia and Vice President of Florida Materials.

Mr. Watson is a past chairman of the Florida Concrete & Products Association and the National Ready-Mix Concrete Association. He serves on the executive committee of the Portland Cement Association and the board of directors of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association.

Mr. Watson has over 20 years of experience in the construction materials industry and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Palm Beach Atlantic College and an MBA from Nova Southeastern.


Frank Angelle

Frank Angelle

Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Communications

As the Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Communications, Frank Angelle is responsible for the company’s human resources development and training, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and communications functions. Since joining CEMEX in 1990, Angelle has held several leadership positions with his most recent role being Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning. Angelle holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Notre Dame.


Bob Capasso

Bob Capasso

Executive Vice President, Business Services Organization

As Vice President, Business Services Organization, Bob Capasso is responsible for financial and management reporting, information technology and training, internal control, financial analysis, credit, and centralized transactional processes. Additionally he manages US transactional activity in tax, treasury and insurance services. Capasso joined CEMEX in 1992 and served in prior roles including Vice President Finance, East Region, and CFO of Rinker Materials Florida. Prior to joining CEMEX, Bob Capasso was CFO/ VP of Administration for Stresscon, a joint venture of Adelaide Brighton Cement and Lone Star Cement. Capasso holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Sacred Heart University and an MS degree in Taxation / Accounting from Florida International University. Capasso is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is active in the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association as a Committee Chairman.


Frank Craddock

Frank Craddock

Executive Vice President, Commercial and Public Affairs

As Executive Vice President of Commercial and Public Affairs, Frank Craddock is responsible for managing national accounts, supporting and coordinating pricing decisions, developing marketing and commercial strategies and monitoring commercial performance for all products, and government affairs. Prior to his current position, Craddock was the Executive Vice President of Ready-Mix and Aggregates. Craddock holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala., and an MBA from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fla. Craddock is a member of the Portland Cement Association (PCA) and the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA).


Robert Cutter

Regional President, Arizona & Nevada Region

As the Regional President for the Arizona & Nevada region, Cutter is responsible for overseeing aggregates, ready-mix, asphalt and concrete product operations and commercial sales activities for the region. Prior to his current role, Cutter served as Vice President and General Manager of Arizona. He joined the company in 1991 and previously held other roles including Vice President of Cement Sales, West Region and Vice President and General Manager for Texas and Arizona operations, as well as various positions in Planning and Accounting. Cutter earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Arizona State University and an MBA from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management.


Scott Ducoff

Scott Ducoff

Regional President, Texas & New Mexico Region

As Regional President of the Texas & New Mexico Region, Scott Ducoff is responsible for overseeing all regional business activities related to concrete, aggregates, asphalt and other building materials. Ducoff has been in the building materials industry for over 25 years holding various senior executive level positions mostly in the Texas region. Prior to joining CEMEX USA, Ducoff served as President of Campbell Concrete and Materials LP in Houston Texas and also served as an advisor to various groups in the private equity industry. Ducoff is educated in both Finance and Management. Additionally he has served on a number of various corporate boards related to the building materials industry and has been actively involved with associations such as NRMCA and TACA.


Mike Egan

Executive Vice President and General Counsel

As the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for CEMEX’s U.S. operations, Mike Egan is responsible for the company’s legal and environmental functions. Prior to this role, Egan served as Corporate Counsel over CEMEX USA’s East Region. Egan holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Boston College, an MBA from University of Bridgeport and a Juris Doctorate from University of Miami.


Gonzalo Galindo

Gonzalo Galindo

Regional President, Florida & Carolinas Region

As the Regional President of the Florida & Carolinas Region, Gonzalo Galindo is responsible for regional commercial sales activities, as well as aggregates, ready mix, concrete product, and gypsum operations. Prior to his current role, Galindo served as the President of CEMEX in the UK and was responsible for marine and land based aggregates, cement, asphalt, ready mix and building products operations. Since joining CEMEX in 1998, Galindo has held a number of different leadership roles within the company, including Vice President of Strategic Planning and Integrated Functions (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia), Corporate Director of Strategic Planning (prior to the acquisition of RMC and later leading its integration process in Europe), and Vice President of Planning in the Philippines and Asia. Mr. Galindo studied at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.


Juan Carlos Herrera

Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning

As the Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning, Juan Carlos Herrera is responsible for business planning, strategic planning, corporate development, pipe operations and real estate functions. Herrera joined CEMEX in 1991 and has held various positions within the company including Executive Vice President of Logistics for CEMEX USA and Vice President of Planning and Innovation for CEMEX Mexico, in addition to positions in Cement Operations, Logistics and Strategic Planning. Herrera has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Monterrey Tech in Mexico and an MBA from the University of Michigan.


Cliff Kirkmyer

Executive Vice President, Aggregates and Mining Resources

As the Executive Vice President, Aggregates and Mining Resources, Cliff Kirkmyer is responsible for reserve management, mine planning, standardization of processes and practices, operational optimization, and Industry involvement, including working with local, area, and regional management in developing community activism. Kirkmyer joined CEMEX in 1996 and held prior roles including Vice President and General Manager, Aggregates, East and President, Quarries East Group for Rinker Materials Corporation. Prior to joining CEMEX, Kirkmyer served as Division Vice President and General Manager for Vulcan Materials. Kirkmyer attended the University of Louisville and the University of North Carolina's Executive Institute, as well as the Center for Creative Leadership Development Program, and has served on many industry boards including the NSSGA.


Kirk Light

Executive Vice President, Logistics

As the Executive Vice President of Logistics, Kirk Light is responsible for the company’s logistics operations, transportation and supply chain planning. Light joined CEMEX in 1998 and has held various positions within the company including Vice President of Phoenix Aggregates and Asphalt as well as several positions in Cement Operations, Strategic Planning and Logistics. Light holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from the University of Michigan and is actively involved in industry organizations including the PCA and NSSGA.


Luis Oropeza

Executive Vice President, Cement Operations

As the Executive Vice President of Cement Operations for CEMEX’s U.S. operations, Luis Oropeza is responsible for the operations at the company’s 13 cement plants in the U.S. Oropeza joined CEMEX in 1985 and has held various positions within the company including Vice President of Manufacturing for CEMEX in Mexico as well as various positions in cement plant management, operations and engineering with CEMEX in Venezuela. Oropeza holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.


Marc Tyson

Marc Tyson

Regional President, Mid-South Region

As Regional President, Mid-South Region, Marc Tyson is responsible for overseeing all regional business activities related to concrete, aggregates, asphalt and other building materials. Prior to joining CEMEX USA, Tyson was President of Ready Mix USA, a business he began in 1995, which eventually became one of the top five privately-owned Ready-Mix concrete companies in the country. Tyson holds Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the President’s Cabinet at the University of Alabama and is an active member of NRMCA.


Steven Wise

Steven Wise

Regional President, California & Pacific Northwest Region

As the Regional President of the California & Pacific Northwest Region, Steve Wise is responsible for overseeing regional commercial sales activities as well as aggregates, ready-mix, and concrete product operations. Wise joined the company in 1988 and has held various positions within CEMEX including Vice President and General Manager of Texas Ready-Mix and Aggregates, Vice President and General Manager of the Minerals Group, Controller for Ready-Mix and Aggregates, as well as various positions in cement plant management, administration, accounting and finance. Wise holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Texas State University and an MBA from the University of Houston and is a board member of the (NRMCA).
