President, CEMEX USA
Ignacio Madridejos joined CEMEX in 1996 and after holding management positions in the Strategic Planning area, he headed CEMEX operations in Egypt, Spain, Western Europe, and more recently, Northern Europe. He is currently President of CEMEX USA, and is also responsible of the company’s global Health & Safety, Energy, and Sustainability areas. Ignacio graduated with an MSc in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and holds an MBA from Stanford University.
Executive Vice President, Cement Operations and Technology
As the Executive Vice President of Cement Operations and Technology for CEMEX's U.S. operations, Dr. Bolio is responsible for the operation of CEMEX’s 13 cement plants in the U.S. Hugo joined CEMEX in 1985 and has held various positions within the company. For the past 15 years, he held the role of Sr. Vice President of Global Technology and was responsible, at different times, for Environmental, Health & Safety, Product Development & Construction Trends, and Procurement. Previously he held various positions in cement plant management, operations and process engineering. Dr. Bolio holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico as well as a Master in Science and a Ph.D. degree in Cement Chemistry from Aberdeen University in Scotland.
Dr. Bolio has been part of the Advisory board of the School of Engineering & Sciences of Monterrey ITESM since 2006, and of the Postgraduate Studies Division of the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School of UANL since 2005, both in Monterrey, Mexico.
Executive Vice President, Business Services Organization
As Vice President, Business Services Organization, Bob is responsible for financial and management reporting, information technology and training, internal control, financial analysis, credit, and centralized transactional processes. Additionally he manages US transactional activity in tax, treasury and insurance services. Bob joined CEMEX in 1992 and served in prior roles including Vice President Finance, East Region, and CFO of Rinker Materials Florida. Prior to joining CEMEX, Bob was CFO/VP of Administration for Stresscon, a joint venture of Adelaide Brighton Cement and Lone Star Cement. Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Sacred Heart University and an MS degree in Taxation / Accounting from Florida International University. Bob is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is active in the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association as a Committee Chairman.
Executive Vice President, Commercial and Public Affairs
Frank has over 35 years of experience in the construction materials business. He has served in numerous roles within the company in the past including Executive Vice President, Concrete and Aggregates, US Operations.
Currently, Frank is Executive Vice President, Commercial and Public Affairs. In this role he is responsible for Cement Sales, Quality Assurance and Technical Services, Market Development, Commercial Strategy and Public Affairs for the US Operations. He has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committees of the National Ready Mix Concrete Association and the Portland Cement Association. He is a current Board Member of each organization and a past Chairman of the NRMCA. He is also a Trustee of the Ready Mix Trust Foundation, a Past Chair of the National Steering Committee for the Concrete Industry Management Schools and a Past Chair and current member of the Advisory Committee for the Concrete Sustainability Hub at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Frank holds an undergraduate degree from Auburn University, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Executive Vice President, Continuous Improvement
As the Executive Vice President, Continuous Improvement, Robert is responsible for the implementation and management of CEMEX USA's continuous improvement program that is aimed at improving productivity and strengthening business results across all business lines. He joined the company in 1991 and previously held other roles including Regional President, Arizona/Nevada, Vice President of Cement Sales, West Region and Vice President and General Manager for Texas and Arizona operations, as well as various positions in Planning and Accounting. Robert earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Arizona State University and an MBA from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management.
Regional President, Texas & New Mexico Region
As Regional President of the Texas & New Mexico Region, Scott is responsible for overseeing all regional business activities related to concrete, aggregates, asphalt and other building materials. Scott has been in the building materials industry for over 25 years holding various senior executive level positions mostly in the Texas region. Prior to joining CEMEX USA, Scott served as President of Campbell Concrete and Materials LP in Houston Texas and also served as an advisor to various groups in the private equity industry. Scott is educated in both Finance and Management. Additionally he has served on a number of various corporate boards related to the building materials industry and has been actively involved with associations such as NRMCA and TACA.
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
As the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for CEMEX’s U.S. operations, Mike is responsible for the company’s legal and environmental functions. Prior to this role, Mike served as Corporate Counsel over CEMEX USA’s East Region. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Boston College, an MBA from University of Bridgeport and a Juris Doctorate from University of Miami.
Regional President, Florida & Carolinas Region
As the Regional President of the Florida & Carolinas Region, Gonzalo is responsible for regional commercial sales activities, as well as aggregates, ready mix, concrete product, and gypsum operations. Prior to his current role, Gonzalo served as the President of CEMEX in the UK and was responsible for marine and land based aggregates, cement, asphalt, ready mix and building products operations. Since joining CEMEX in 1998, Gonzalo has held a number of different leadership roles within the company, including Vice President of Strategic Planning and Integrated Functions (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia), Corporate Director of Strategic Planning (prior to the acquisition of RMC and later leading its integration process in Europe), and Vice President of Planning in the Philippines and Asia. Gonzalo studied at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning and Concrete Pipe
As the Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning, Juan Carlos is responsible for business planning, strategic planning, corporate development, pipe operations and real estate functions. Juan Carlos joined CEMEX in 1991 and has held various positions within the company including Executive Vice President of Logistics for CEMEX USA and Vice President of Planning and Innovation for CEMEX Mexico, in addition to positions in Cement Operations, Logistics and Strategic Planning. Juan Carlos has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Monterrey Tech in Mexico and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Executive Vice President, Logistics
As the Executive Vice President of Logistics, Kirk is responsible for the company’s logistics operations, transportation and supply chain planning. Kirk joined CEMEX in 1998 and has held various positions within the company including Vice President of Phoenix Aggregates and Asphalt as well as several positions in Cement Operations, Strategic Planning and Logistics. Kirk holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from the University of Michigan and is actively involved in industry organizations including the PCA and NSSGA.
Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Communications
As the Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Communications, Guillermo is responsible for the company's human resources development and training, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and communications functions. Since joining CEMEX in 2000, Guillermo has held leadership positions within Human Resources and Strategic Planning in several countries, including his most recent role as CEMEX's Vice President, Human Resources, Spain and Mediterranean. Guillermo holds a master's degree in business administration from IESE - University of Navarra in Barcelona and a law degree from the University of Basque Country in San Sebastian, Spain.
Regional President, Mid-South Region
As Regional President, Mid-South Region, Marc Tyson is responsible for overseeing all regional business activities related to concrete, aggregates, asphalt and other building materials. Prior to joining CEMEX USA, Marc was President of Ready Mix USA, a business he began in 1995, which eventually became one of the top five privately-owned ready mix concrete companies in the country. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the President’s Cabinet at the University of Alabama and is an active member of NRMCA.
Regional President, West Region
As Regional President for the West Region, Eric is responsible for overseeing all regional business activities related to concrete, aggregates, asphalt, and other building materials. Eric has more than 20 years of experience in the building materials industry. He joined CEMEX Germany in 1997 and held various leadership positions in the cement division. In 2009 he was appointed President for CEMEX in Germany, a fully integrated portfolio of cement, aggregates, and ready-mix concrete businesses. Eric has a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the European Business School in Germany, and attended San Diego State University, in San Diego, CA.
